Installed Sound DSP
Radius 12×8 EX is an extremely versatile universal DSP building block.
Radius AEC is designed specifically for applications requiring high performance acoustic echo canceling.
Both products sport 64×64 Dante™ network audio expansion ports,12 analog inputs, 8 analog outputs, and on-board 10/100 and gigabit switches. A versatile option card slot maximizes the number of inputs and/or outputs in a single 1U DSP. Cards include analog in, analog out, digital in, digital out, AEC, VoIP, and ATI.
Prism is the latest addition to the Symetrix line of Dante™ enabled DSPs. Used as the DSP core of a Dante network – or used standalone – Prism is ideally suited for applications requiring powerful, cost effective advanced signal processing coupled with an industry standard network audio interface.
The same uncompromising analog and digital design found in Symetrix’ top of the line DSPs is used across the Prism family – enabling state of the art processing at price points that were unimaginable only a few short years ago.
A powerful Dante equipped DSP featuring flexible audio input and output configuration. 4 fully configurable I/O slots support an array of option cards including analog in and out, AEC, VoIP and analog telephony, and AES-3 digital – aligning the hardware’s I/O with exact system requirements. For simplified daisy-chaining, Edge features on-board 10/100 and gigabit switches.
Designed to serve in standalone DSP applications – those not requiring Dante network audio – the Solus NX series features the same DSP power and delay memory as Symetrix’ Radius, Prism, and Edge DSPs.
Solus NX is ideally suited for a large range of installed sound applications, delivering DSP-intensive processing, routing and delay in systems requiring sophisticated loudspeaker management, auto-mixing, paging, routing and distribution, mic/line processing, AGC, room combining and more.
Jupiter DSPs are powered from a collection of zero learning curve, turn-key audio processing apps. Jupiter is an ideal solution for a wide variety of everyday tasks, from auto-mixing to loudspeaker management. Choose an app, download to hardware, dial in the sound.
The Zone Mix 761 is a dedicated paging, music and zone management DSP solution – perfect for restaurants, hospitality establishments, night clubs, bars – anywhere announcements and music must be managed across multiple zones.
There are many ways for end users to control Symetrix DSPs:
- The ARC series of wall panels – intuitive and cost-effective.
- ARC-PSe – an external power supply for installations requiring a large number of ARC wall panels.
- ARC-WEB – sophisticated (and free) control via smartphone, tablet, and computer browsers.
- RC-3 Remote Control – a very basic analog wall panel most often used as a volume control.
- xControl External Control Expander – additional control inputs and outputs for conferencing and paging systems.
Designed specifically for use with Dante-enabled Radius, Prism, and Edge DSPs, I/O expanders are a low cost way to increase a system’s overall analog input and output channel capacity.
Programmed using Composer software – there is no need for third party software applications – there are no switches, circuit board jumpers, or mechanical adjustments of any kind. Symetrix makes it simple and easy.
Radius 12×8 EX, Radius AEC, and Edge I/O expansion slots support an array of versatile cards including analog in and out, AEC, VoIP, analog telephony, and AES-3 digital – helping to align the hardware’s I/O with exact system requirements.
For rack mounting or surface mounting of Symetrix 1/2 rack units, these mounting accessories are compatible for use with:
- Prism 0x0
- Prism 4×4
- xControl External Control Expander
- xIn 4
- xIO 4×4
- xOut 4
Ready-made cables used to adapt consumer audio connectors to 3.5mm Euroblock connectors.
Composer is the Windows® application used to program Radius, Prism, Edge, and Solus NX DSPs. In addition to the programming of one or many Symetrix DSPs, Composer also natively configures the setup and routing for Symetrix Dante I/O Expanders along with select third-party Dante endpoints. Integrators can design a complete end-to-end DSP signal path with one application.
SymVue is a network-based runtime application for standard Windows PCs, touchscreen enabled PC’s, and tablets. SymVue displays Control Screens authored in, and exported from, Symetrix Composer which are used to control Radius, Prism, Edge, and Solus NX DSPs. Comprehensive end user GUIs can be designed and tested in a very short amount of time without low level code writing.
Jupiter hardware is programmed using turn-key, purpose built Windows applications. With a simple download from a library of over 70 apps, Jupiter hardware is ready to go to work – no design time, zero learning curve. Jupiter handles every task, from auto-mixing to loudspeaker management. Signal routings, be they simple or complex, are fully tested and ready to go right out of the box.
Zone Mix 761 hardware is programmed using a turn-key, purpose built Windows® application which presents an intuitive GUI utilizing a familiar hardware-like layout to enable a short programming timeline and rapid hardware deployment.
Voice Processor 2x hardware is programmed using a turn-key, purpose built Windows® application which presents an intuitive GUI utilizing a familiar layout mimicking its signal flow to enable a short programming timeline and rapid hardware deployment.
Broadcast Voice Processors
The Voice Processor 2x’s Windows®-based software enables programming of all essential voice processor parameters. Once a desired sound is dialed in, all settings are saved as named presets for later recall from the front panel or remotely. Any mic can be optimized for a diverse air staff of male and/or female voices.
