Product Details

SymNet Designer Software is a CAD-style drag-and-drop Windows® application used to configure all SymNet CobraNet and SymLink hardware.

The software supports an open architecture, which means the system designer defines the entire audio signal path. DSP modules such as compressors and equalizers are placed into a design and easily connected with SymNet's intuitive wiring method. SymNet Site files are created on a PC and then loaded into SymNet hardware, where they are stored in non-volatile memory for retrieval and editing at any time.

SymNet has more than 350 DSP Modules including Mixers, Matrixes, Equalizers and filters, Compressors/Limiters, Automatic Gain Control, Sound Pressure Level computers, AutoMixers, Room Combiners, Feedback Fighters, Control Logic, and more. BGM Combiners link wall panels in room combine scenarios so that panels track together when zones are combined: a first for a DSP-based room combining solution.

Control Screens provide simple user interfaces for technicians and end-users that run on a connected PC. Multi-level security allows different user interfaces for the system while protecting the underlying design.

SymNet Designer versions 7.0 and later support Smaart Live™ for automated loudspeaker tuning.

Up to 1000 Presets can be defined and then triggered from SymNet Designer software, ARC Wall Panels or third party external control systems.

Super-Modules (blocks of DSP programming) can be exported from or imported into SymNet designs and a variety of pre-built Super-Modules are included.

SymNet Designer includes an extensive library of Control Modules – logic based processing modules such as Logic gates (And, OR, XOR), Flip Flop modules for switching and an RS-232 string output module for control of external devices such as video projectors and switchers.

A built-in real time clock runs an Event Scheduler allowing time-based (daily, weekly, monthly basis, or custom calendars) triggering of presets or external switching connections such as relays and open collector outputs.

SymNet Designer Software can be downloaded free of charge, without registration.
