Symetrix, manufacturer of high-performance hardware and software for the installed audio/visual market, announced that Scott Wrege has joined the company as its Western Regional Sales Manager. With more than 25 years of sales experience in the AV industry, Wrege got his start with PictureTel Corp and then ClearOne Communications before founding manufacturer rep firm PacificAV in 2006. Under his leadership, PacificAV represented such prominent lines as Tannoy, Renkus-Heinz, ClearOne, and Lab Gruppen in California, Southern Nevada, Arizona, and Hawaii, winning multiple Outstanding Achievement and other awards.
“Bringing Scott Wrege into the Symetrix family is a real coup,” remarks Symetrix CEO Mark Graham. “Scott’s experience at PacificAV gave him a thorough understanding of rep firms and dealers, and he has built strong relationships with a huge network of top integrators, contractors, and consultants. With his technical knowledge, sales and management experience, and many years living and working in the West, he’ll do a terrific job managing our Western Regional sales.”
“Symetrix is the right company at the right place and time, and I’m excited to be part of it” enthuses Wrege. “Nowadays audio and video systems increasingly rely on IP networks, and that trend will accelerate in the years to come. Symetrix products are at the heart of many of the best of these networks. Thanks to exceptional quality, reliability, features, ease of programming, support for Dante and other leading-edge technology, integration with third-party products, strong customer support, and affordable pricing, Symetrix will continue to be hugely successful for a long time. I look forward to working with and supporting Symetrix’ Western reps and dealers.”
