On the 421m, the AUTO RELEASE THRESHOLD may be set too high. Turn this control further counter-clockwise. Additionally, the EXPANDER THRESHOLD may be set too high. Turn this control further clockwise.
On the 422, the DETECTOR THRESHOLD may be set too high. Turn this control further counter-clockwise.
