The D100 does not currently support a VoIP interface.
Can I purchase more Internal Media Recording channels for D100?
Not at this time.
How do I purchase more Internal Media Playback channels for D100?
Internal Media Playback Channel Packs for D100 can be purchased through Symetrix AV-Ops Center. The number of Media Playback channels can be expanded from the default 32 up to a maximum of 128.
How do I purchase more AEC channels for D100?
AEC Channels Packs for D100 can be purchased through Symetrix AV-Ops Center. The number of AEC channels can be expanded from the default 64 up to a maximum of 96.
How do I purchase more Dante channels for D100?

Does D100 support Lua scripts?
Yes, through Composer Intelligent Modules.
Does D100 support full hardware failover?
While D100 features redundant power supplies and supports Dante Redundancy Mode, it does not support full hardware redundancy or failover. This means if a D100 fails in service, the system will not ìdefaultî to a backup device in the same way that Dante Redundancy works.
Can I connect directly to D100, or do I need a network switch?
Direct connection from a PC to D100 is possible with a straight-through CAT-5e or higher cable. A connection through a switch is also possible.
Can I have multiple D100 units in a single site file?
Yes, Composer will allow up to two D100ís to be configured in a single site file.
Can D100 be daisy-chained with other units over Dante?
No, the D100 does not support any network switching capabilities. The two Dante ports act only as primary and secondary Dante networks.
Can D100 be used for acoustic echo cancellation (AEC) processing?
Yes. D100 includes 64 channels of AEC without the need for any separate modules or option cards.
Will SymVue and ARC-WEB work with D100?
Yes. D100 can access all of the features in Composer available to Radius and Edge, including SymVue and ARC-WEB.
What is the minimum Dante latency the D100 will operate at?
The minimum Dante latency for the D100 is 2ms.
Can I control third-party equipment from D100, and can third-party equipment control D100?
Absolutely. D100 has network control ports just as with any Composer-based DSP, which allows for IP commands to be sent and received over the control network. Additionally, D100 is compatible with xControl if analog or RS-232 control is desired.
Can I add analog audio to D100?
Yes, but not directly. While there are no option card slots on D100 for direct analog expansion, xIO Audio Expanders can be used to facilitate analog inputs or outputs.
Does D100 work with ARC remotes?
No, there is no ARC port on D100, and it will not work directly with physical ARC remotes. However, this DSP does still support ARC-WEB, and it also works with W-Series remotes and T-Series touch panels.
Are there GPIO ports on D100?
No, there are no GPIO ports on this DSP.
Are DSP option cards compatible with D100?
No, there are no option card slots on this DSP.
Does D100 have any more or less processing power than other Symetrix DSPs?
D100 has about four times the DSP power of Radius NX and Edge.
Does D100 provide PoE over its Dante ports?
No
What sample rate does D100 operate at?
D100 is capable of 40-bit floating point processing at 48kHz.
Is D100 programmed with Composer?
Yes. Composer 9.0 or above is required to program D100.
How many channels of Dante audio does D100 support?
D100 supports 256 bi-directional Dante channels by default, upgradeable to a maximum of 384 bi-directional channels.
What is D100 and how is it different than other Symetrix DSPs?
D100 is a Dante-only DSP designed for projects with high channel counts. There is no built-in analog I/O, and unlike Radius NX and Edge, there are no option card slots for analog, USB, VoIP, or ATI expansion. However, the 256◊256 Dante, 64 AEC, and 32 internal media player playback channels that Server D100 comes with by default are expandable through optional Channel Packs. Finally, Server D100 also includes 8 internal media recording channels that are not expandable at this time.
How long does D100 take to fully boot?
